Thought for the Week

God has three answers to prayers: yes, not yet, and I’ve got something better for you.
When we pray, whomever to and however we pray, we sometimes think our higher power is not listening or doesn’t care if we don’t get what we prayed for. However, prayers are answered in many different ways and not necessarily in the way we want. Sometimes our prayers are answered when we receive something that was not on our radar. Sometimes our prayers are answered with a “yes.” Sometimes they are answered with a “not yet.” And sometimes they are answered with a “I’ve got something better for you.”
What do I pray for? Have I felt angry when my prayers were not answered? In what ways might my prayers have been answered in ways I did not ask for or expect?
