Staff Spotlight: Sarah Manfredi

Sarah Manfredi is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist here at Willow Tree Counseling.  She brings a passion for helping individuals and couples impacted by sex addiction as well as an ability to understand, support, and guide both addicts and betrayed partner in their process.

She has completed The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS) training  and is currently a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist – Candidate (CCPS – Candidate) and is well into the training by The International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and is currently a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist – Candidate (CSAT – Candidate).

Given the importance of recognizing and healing the underlying trauma which often drives sex addiction and the partner’s betrayal trauma, Sarah’s extensive training and experience in Brainspotting is a significant strength that she brings to her clients.

Sarah’s passion to support her clients on their path to healthier relationships has led her to train in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and The Gottman Method.

When she’s not at the office, Sarah enjoys keeping up with her family. Whether it’s hiking, cuddling with her sweet dogs, family game nights or basketball games- her self care is best achieved when she’s among her family or taking in the nature around her.

Sarah is proud to be a part of the Willow Tree family.
