“Take care of the problem now, or else you’ll just suffer again later when you screw everything up the next time.” –Elizabeth Gilbert

Life has a tendency to be circular.  Therefore, the challenges we face in life often show up again, sometimes looking exactly the same and sometimes looking different but presenting the same underlying problem.  When we complain about the problems in our life but fail to take care of them (we do not learn from the challenging situation), we set ourselves up to suffer the next time these problems come our way.  However, if we acknowledge the problems and take care of them (we learn from the challenging situation), we are in a better position to be successful the next time these problems come our way.

What problems are in my life today?  Have these problems been in my life in the past?  Am I taking care of and learning from these problems or am I setting myself up to suffer again in the future?
