Would you marry yourself?

No one is perfect.  And while that is not an excuse for ignoring your own problematic behaviors and interactions, it is also not license to beat yourself up due to your imperfections.  Self-love and acceptance are important in our personal development.  If I do not love myself as I am and I cannot accept myself with my imperfections, my relationships are in for a lot of trouble.  Why?  Because we attract that which fits us!  When I have issues with self-love or acceptance, the people that are attracted to me are going to have issues here as well.  This may show up as feeling less-than or as a sense of entitlement.  However, if I have learned to love and accept myself, the people who are attracted to me have typically learned the same.  That is where truly equal and satisfying relationships are found.

Would I marry myself or someone like me?  What have I not accepted about myself?  Do I love who I am or who I am becoming?
