“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” –Viktor Frankl
There is only so much we can control. More often than we care to admit, we find ourselves in situations we cannot change. If we focus on the situation, how unfair it may be, how we deserve better, or what other people are doing that is wrong, we may feel justified but we leave ourselves stuck. When we accept the unchangeable situation and, instead, focus on changing ourselves, we grow.
Am I focused on a situation that I cannot change? What might happen if I instead focus on changing myself? In what ways might I grow?
