Why worry?
There should be laughter after pain
There should be sunshine after rain
These things have always been the same
So why worry now?
Why worry now?
-Mark Knopfler
Life is like the tides, it ebbs and flows. One of the mistakes people often make is assuming that the difficult parts of life are permanent. And while things may not always work out the way we would like, the difficult parts of life are not permanent, they ebb and flow. If we only focus on the difficult times, we miss the joyful times that follow.
In what ways has my life ebbed and flowed in the past? Do I tend to worry or focus on the difficulties? What would change if I let go and accept the difficult times knowing they will be followed by times of joy?
