“Every problem has a gift for you in its hands.” –Richard Bach

The world is not black and white and breaking it into chunks of good and bad bypasses the richness that the world around us has to offer.  Problems are a prime example.  Problems are a puzzle, a challenge, a fork in the road, but they are not bad.  Every problem carries an opportunity within.  We may not recognize or understand the opportunity but that does not mean it is not there.  When we stop seeing problems as black and white and start to see them as grey (i.e. an uncomfortable challenge with an opportunity embedded in it) we become available to find and receive the gifts they are carrying.

What problems have I ignored?  What would change if I viewed these problems as challenges to be addressed?  What gifts do they potentially hold for me?
