Thought for the Week

If you are going to say “No,” you need to know what “Yes” is.

Snap judgments usually create problems.  Informed decisions typically work out better.  To make informed decisions we must explore and understand not only the choice we ultimately make but also the choice we do not make.  Looking at the whole picture helps us to completely own our decision in a healthy way.  I can embrace “No” when I know what “Yes” is.

Do I jump to conclusions?  What would change if I explored all my options?  Do I understand both “Yes” and “No?”
