“Suffering is clinging to that which changes.” –Budha

Life is change. This is a truth whether we like it or not.  Holding on to a part of life and expecting it to never change sets us up for suffering.  Holding onto something as permanent (whether a job, marriage, friendship, or other relationship) sets us up to be miserable at some point.  When we accept that life is change and appreciate what we have, we are not free from pain or sadness, but we can avoid suffering.

What have I been hanging onto in my life that creates suffering for me?  Why am I afraid to allow for change?  What gifts might await me if I accept that all things change?
