OK

The course of our life in addiction leads to many problems.  There any a number of options to change our course.  However, we often meet those options with a “Yes, but” statement.  “Yes, but I am not worse than any other red blooded American male.”  “Yes, but I never bring it home.”  “Yes, but they don’t understand me.”  When our answers change from “Yes, but …” to “OK” healing happens.

What problems has my (or someone else’s) addiction created in my life?  What have been my “Yes, but” answers?  What gifts await me if I start to answer “OK?”
