It is easy to feel overwhelmed when life becomes difficult. One simple truth, that we often miss, is that these very moments often hold the most potential for change! This may be what you learn from a relapse and that helps you solidify your recovery and sobriety or it may be a conflict that clarifies what you want and are not willing to tolerate in a relationship. We grow by acknowledging the difficulties in life and simultaneously looking for the opportunities being presented to us.
Do I focus on the difficulties or the opportunities that those difficulties bring? What can I learn from the current difficulties in my life?
