“If you don’t accept the challenges that life brings with it, then life is not worth living.” –Sigi Schmid

Some people spend a lot of time trying to avoid, minimize, or simply ignore the challenges that life holds and those people are missing the point.  Life is not supposed to be easy and smooth.  Life is supposed to be bumpy, uncomfortable, and challenging.  When we accept and meet life’s challenges head on, we grow.

Am I accepting the challenges that life holds for me?  If not, what has been the cost of avoiding life’s challenges and looking for the easy option?  What growth and gifts are waiting for me on the other side of the challenge?
