Be Your Adult
In emotionally charged situations, we sometimes feel much younger than our biological age. In a sense, our inner child has taken over and is managing the situation. One of the problems with this is that children do not have the skills to handle adult situations. In these moments, it is helpful to take a deep breath and get back into our adult self. We will handle the situation more effectively and successfully as our adult.
How old do I feel? How might I handle this situation more effectively if I were in my adult? What gifts await me that can only be found by my adult?
