When I repress my emotions, my stomach keeps score. –John Powell
Our bodies and our emotions are closely linked. This is a truth that we do not fully understand. None the less, when we live in emotional integrity, our bodies function better. When we live out of sync or void of our emotions our bodies function poorly. This may be stomach aches, migraines, constipation or diarrhea, physical exhaustion, or physical pain. Pay attention to what your body is telling you about your emotions. Ignore this connection and the symptoms only get worse.
Am I open to my emotional experience? What does my body tell me about my emotional experience? Am I listening to my body?
