Observe the Feeling and Thought.

It is possible to be too close to your own experience.  When we simply react to our feelings and thoughts, we often miss the larger picture.  When we take a step back and observe our thoughts and feelings, we are able to look at the larger picture, gather useful information (often from others), and act in a more effective way.

Am I acting or reacting?  What would change if I observed my thoughts and feelings instead of reacting to them?  How would others experience me if I acted instead of reacted?  Can I dedicate a few minutes each day to observe my thoughts and feelings?
