The more relaxed an athlete, the better they perform.
One of the best actions we can take is to relax. When situations are challenging, we often fight back believing this will help us to win. However, that resistance often keeps us stagnant or gets in the way of the gifts awaiting us. We can try and fight through the obstacles in our way but when we relax, many, if not all, of the obstacles disappear.
Am I fighting my way through life and recovery? What obstacles would disappear if I relaxed? In what ways might my efforts be more effective if I relaxed?
