Thought for the Week

Sometimes you need a tug boat (to turn the ship around).

Large ships are great at going straight, however, turning a large ship takes a lot of time and a lot of space.  Large ships need the help of a tug boat to turn effectively.  In life and recovery, we are often like a large ship.  We are going in a direction that is often not working for us but change is slow.  We need help from others to be more effective in creating change in our life.

How have I recognized the difficulty of creating change in my life?  Which people are available in my life to help me make these changes?  What gifts await me if I allow these “tug boats” to help me change?
