Thought for the Week

My successes are more likely to be appreciated if I tell others what I have done.
Sometimes people notice our actions and choices. Sometimes they don’t. Holding anger or resentment when we feel that others have not given us credit for our work is about as narcissistic as we can get. If you want others to recognize your work, share with them what you are doing. If you want them to recognize your growth or changes, you also need to share with them your struggles and challenges. If you don’t share with others when you are struggling, they can’t recognize and appreciate your progress and success.
Am I sharing my own personal work with others? Am I sharing my struggles with others? What would change if I allowed others to know the whole picture of my work?
