“When someone you love takes up more space in your head than you do in their heart, it is time to let go.” –Sepi Ghaflouri
Relationships are powerful because they are two way streets. You choose to be involved from your side and the other person chooses to be involved from their side. When only you have chosen to be involved in a relationship, not matter how strong your desire for the relationship is, it is not really a relationship; it is obsession and, in the extreme, stalking. When someone else is not putting energy into a relationship with you, regardless of the reason, it is time to reconsider the relationship.
Am I in relationship with others or am I obsessed with others? Am I putting energy into mutually chosen relationships? What would change if I focused on mutual relationships?
